For the 1st time in UTM, DeerHacks, will bring together numerous innovators, technology enthusiasts, designers, and entrepreneurs in a thrilling competition where they will embark on a journey to build unique and impactful projects.

What is a hackathon?

An event, typically lasting several days, in which a large number of people meet to engage in collaborative computer programming. We look past this traditional definition of a hackathon and take it to new heights. DeerHacks is the University of Toronto's Mississauga first hackathon. At DeerHacks, we bring people together to make new friends, learn new things, and bring new ideas to life.

When and where is DeerHacks happening?
DeerHacks will be happening from April 29th - May 1st, 2022. The hackathon will be hybrid this year.
Do I need to have a team?
Nope! We welcome both individual and team submissions! Although if you are interested in finding teammates, you can indicate so in the registration form.
How many hackers are allowed per team?
Each team can have up to 4 members.
What's the deadline to apply?
We will be closing applications on April 28th at 11:59pm.
